Eva’s Initiatives for Homeless Youth is an award-winning organization that provides shelter, transitional housing, and programming to help homeless and at-risk youth reach their potential to lead productive, self-sufficient, and healthy lives. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, 123 youth aged 16 to 24 find safe shelter and support in our facilities every night. Eva’s gives youth the tools to transition out of homelessness permanently.

"The Metro Emergency Housing Program exists to help find a safe environment for students facing urgent and unsafe housing situations to help provide them with the safety and support they need while continuing their studies. This program brings together a suite of options for NSCC student advisors and counsellors to access when triaging students in need of emergency housing."

Welcome Home City (WHC) is a program designed to support homeless and housing insecure City College students. The WHC team assists students in securing sustainable, long-term housing solutions that support our students' academic journeys. Once a student connects with the WHC team, relevant campus and community resources will also be provided to address each student’s unique situation.

The Basic Needs Center provides housing services and resources to help alleviate housing insecurity in the UC Berkeley student community. Our service model includes prevention services to support students from losing their housing and emergency services to support students who are unhoused or at imminent risk of losing their housing.

The Advice Service can signpost you to relevant sources of help and information, and support you with application processes as needed.
