Eva’s Initiatives for Homeless Youth

Eva’s Initiatives for Homeless Youth is an award-winning organization that provides shelter, transitional housing, and programming to help homeless and at-risk youth reach their potential to lead productive, self-sufficient, and healthy lives. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, 123 youth aged 16 to 24 find safe shelter and support in our facilities every night. Eva’s gives youth the tools to transition out of homelessness permanently.

If you are unable to find temporary housing, stay with family or friends, or if you have any other issues that make it hard to find appropriate housing (short or long-term), we can help. We will work with you and other U of T staff, as appropriate, to help you find housing and continue with your studies.

He is not enrolled in school at the time but names that he should be, names mental health issues as the primary cause for his situation.
