Eva’s Initiatives for Homeless Youth is an award-winning organization that provides shelter, transitional housing, and programming to help homeless and at-risk youth reach their potential to lead productive, self-sufficient, and healthy lives. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, 123 youth aged 16 to 24 find safe shelter and support in our facilities every night. Eva’s gives youth the tools to transition out of homelessness permanently.

Youth Without Shelter is an emergency residence and referral agency serving homeless youth. We are dedicated to providing shelter and support programs for homeless youth ages 16-24. We provide an independent shelter, committed to diverse client-focused services, in a safe, non-judgemental environment. Our programs enable youth to live responsibly and independently in society.
Nipissing University Student Emergency Fund

The Student Emergency Fund will assist students with a variety of expenses spanning everything from food, housing and utilities to transportation, clothing and medical expenses. The fund will continue to be a resource for students in need beyond the lifetime of the pandemic.

We will work with you and other U of T staff, as appropriate, to help you find housing and continue with your studies.

22-year-old man in Toronto is given a camera phone to document his experience living in a homeless shelter for youth. He is not enrolled in school at the time but names that he should be, names mental health issues as the primary cause for his situation.
