LA Room and Board’s residential education program, promotes to our students persistence, retention, and completion from their certificate, associate’s and bachelor’s degree programs.


YSS Post-secondary Education Retention Program

Post-secondary Education Retention Program (PSERP) helps young adults (ages 18-25) to successfully complete their education goals—whether that's an associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree, or certificate of completion from a trade program. The program is a partnership of YSS's organization Iowa Homeless Youth Centers (IHYC) and the United Way of Central Iowa.


Hope Homes

The Hope Homes Program provides safe and stable housing options and individualized supports for youth, 16-24 years old, who are homeless or are at risk of homelessness.
