LA Room and Board’s residential education program, promotes to our students persistence, retention, and completion from their certificate, associate’s and bachelor’s degree programs.


Eva’s Initiatives for Homeless Youth

Eva’s Initiatives for Homeless Youth is an award-winning organization that provides shelter, transitional housing, and programming to help homeless and at-risk youth reach their potential to lead productive, self-sufficient, and healthy lives. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, 123 youth aged 16 to 24 find safe shelter and support in our facilities every night. Eva’s gives youth the tools to transition out of homelessness permanently.

Youth Without Shelter is an emergency residence and referral agency serving homeless youth. We are dedicated to providing shelter and support programs for homeless youth ages 16-24. We provide an independent shelter, committed to diverse client-focused services, in a safe, non-judgemental environment. Our programs enable youth to live responsibly and independently in society.

College Success Initiative (Jovenes College)

Jovenes’ College Success Initiative combines traditional and academic case management in order to support students as they live in stable housing options tailored to their needs. By taking away the burden of housing costs, our students are able to focus on academic achievement. We provide rental subsidies (and other housing supports) to homeless students so they can move into permanent & stable housing, focus on their education, and graduate.
