Basic Needs refers to access to essential services that impact overall health and well-being. Basic needs resources include access to nutritious food, stable housing, healthcare, childcare, transportation, and financial resources.
University of Oregon Housing Resources

The Housing Subsidy provides limited funding to help stabilize UO students experiencing housing insecurity. The goal of the subsidy is to keep students in housing by preventing eviction and/or helping students to secure housing when finances present a barrier. For example, it can be used to cover late rent or utility bills or toward a security deposit.
University of Nevada, Las Vegas HOPE Scholars

The UNLV HOPE Scholars Program is a partnership between the Clark County School District (CCSD) Title I HOPE Office, Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth (NPHY), and UNLV. The program is specifically designed to assist UNLV students experiencing housing insecurity or houselessness secure housing as well as academic and financial support in order to successfully complete their degree.
