"Each June, the Chicago Coalition for the Homeless awards renewable college scholarships to graduating high school seniors who succeeded in school while experiencing homelessness. Eligibility - Graduating high school seniors from Chicago and suburban schools and CCH youth leaders and former youth clients Amount - $3,500"

In an effort to provide assistance to students experiencing homelessness and in accordance with IL Public Act 102-0083, College of DuPage has designated a liaison to assist enrolled COD homeless students.

Basic Needs refers to access to essential services that impact overall health and well-being. Basic needs resources include access to nutritious food, stable housing, healthcare, childcare, transportation, and financial resources.
