Youth Without Shelter is an emergency residence and referral agency serving homeless youth. We are dedicated to providing shelter and support programs for homeless youth ages 16-24. We provide an independent shelter, committed to diverse client-focused services, in a safe, non-judgemental environment. Our programs enable youth to live responsibly and independently in society.


NSCC Foundation Metro Emergency Housing

"The Metro Emergency Housing Program exists to help find a safe environment for students facing urgent and unsafe housing situations to help provide them with the safety and support they need while continuing their studies. This program brings together a suite of options for NSCC student advisors and counsellors to access when triaging students in need of emergency housing."


Nipissing University Student Emergency Fund

The Student Emergency Fund will assist students with a variety of expenses spanning everything from food, housing and utilities to transportation, clothing and medical expenses. The fund will continue to be a resource for students in need beyond the lifetime of the pandemic.

It is available to all residents of Newfoundland and Labrador any time, day or night. 811 HealthLine nurses are available 24/7 to listen, provide support, and connect you to health services in your area. If you are experiencing a mental health and addictions crisis, need support, or are looking for health information, call 811.
